Senior/Executive, HR Analytics (Boon Lay / 5 days / 6 months / up to $3300)

  • 6 months (Subject to extension / renewable)
  • $2500 - $3300 (nego)
  • 5 Days Work Week 
  • Boon Lay (Tertiary Education)


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and ensure employee data records are updated. Tasks include:
    • Process employees’ request - staff update on employee data in HRIS for non-self-service staff data updates
    • Update employee personnel files
    • Set up and maintain user access controls

  • Provide local and central departments with HR data and reports:
    • Prepare relevant HR performance reports
    • Prepare periodic regulatory/ statutory reporting on employee related information
    • Respond to ad hoc queries on employee/HR data

 

  • Troubleshoot and refine all HR systems in support of Recruitment, Appraisals, Promotions and Tenure processes:
    • Grant user access to relevant systems
    • Address system enquiries and issues experienced by users
    • Troubleshoot issues and bugs identified by users

  • Support system development and enhancement work, which includes the following tasks:
    • Work with end user to establish user requirements for system enhancement projects or new system implementation
    • Participate in system studies and prepare test scripts for system enhancement projects or new system implementation
    • Grant user access to relevant systems
    • System troubleshooting and debugging
    • Teach new users the capabilities of the system enhancements

 

  • Generate periodic reports for performance analysis reviews to assess performance against operations goals and metrics to ensure defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) is met

  • Support and process the administration of staff card functions:
    • Photo taking and creation of staff card for new staff
    • Replacement of staff cards due to loss or damaged cards
    • Ensure return of staff cards for staff leaving university service

  • Escalate key service issues to HR Lead (Data Management & Analytics).


Operational Excellence

  • Ensure that all requests are processed within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure adherence to guidelines set by OHR (e.g. granting of user access rights).


Relationship management/Customer relations

  • Understand the working culture and dynamics of each local unit to build strong working relationships


Duration:

  • 6 months (Subject to extension / renewal)


Salary:

  • $2,500 to $3,300 (depends on experience)


Location:

  • Boon Lay (Tertiary Institute)


Working Hours:

  • Mon to Thurs: 8.30am to 5.45pm
  • Fri: 8.30am to 5.15pm


Requirements:

  • Preferably Diploma in Human Resources, Social Science, Business or related discipline
  • Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in an HR environment
  • Good knowledge of HR data administration & maintenance, data privacy and protection, Master Data Management, reporting, access control governance
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to understand complex information and requirements
  • Positive attitude with service oriented mind set
  • An independent self-starter and a team player
  • Ability to work under pressure timeline
  • Ability to handle confidential information sensitively
  • Meticulous, resourceful, innovative with a positive attitude
