Entry / JuniorJob Description:
- Handle food and beverage orders and serve guests
- Assist to prepare and set up assigned restaurant for food service
- Ensure all available amenities and utensils are properly stocked and inspected prior to service
- Assist guests requests, conduct suggestive up-selling, well-versed in all aspects of the menu
- Manage telephone and email reservation enquiries
- Assign seats evenly and fairly
- Maintain guest profile and history - take note of all special occasions and dates for example birthdays, wedding
anniversaries, etc. - Relay all guest comments to the Manager and Assistant Manager
- Handle and solve any concerns and questions from guests
- Supervise servers to ensure excellent customer service
- Support Assistant Manager and Department in achieving all goals and KPI
- All other administrative duties in the restaurant
Requirements:
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays
- Able to work rotating shifts
- Muslim candidates to be comfortable with serving non halal food items / alcohol
- Other allowances: night shift allowance/ OT payment if required for overtime
- 5-day work week
