Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician

Main Purpose of Role

An individual contributor responsible for the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and instrumentation devices. Operates with limited supervision to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of instruments, sensors, control panels, and low/high-voltage systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in PLC systems, transmitters, control valves, and signal loops.
• Ensure all E&I work complies with safety standards, plant protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Document maintenance and calibration activities accurately and timely.
• Support shutdowns, turnarounds, and project execution when required.

Qualifications

Education:

• Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within an industrial or plant setting.
