Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of design documents, including shop drawings, standard details, and calculations.
• Conduct front-end engineering and design (FEED) work, including conceptual and feasibility studies
• Review designs, specifications, and drawings to improve construction methods, sequences, and material usage to drive cost savings.
• Resolve upstream technical issues during the design and planning stages prior to project execution.
• Attend design/technical meetings with vendors and subcontractors to review combined services drawings and ensure coordination without conflicts.
• Manage the design approval process with consultants, subcontractors, and clients to meet project timelines.
• Handle design submissions and DAR (Design Approval Request) reporting to clients.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of high voltage and DC systems, ISCS, and related interface management.
• Track design deliverables against project procurement schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion.
• Identify and escalate potential design risks or issues that may impact project performance.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8 - 10 years of relevant hands-on M&E experience, particularly in construction, LTA projects, or mixed developments.
• Proficient with local codes such as SS638 (CP5), SS650, SS555, etc.
• Skilled in AutoCAD; experience with BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks) is a plus.
