MODEC OFFSHORE PRODUCTION SYSTEMS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.
Overall Job Purpose:

Responsible for the ensuring that all equipment and systems are operational and their integrity is in compliance

with MODEC procedures, maintenance philosophy, national and international regulations and standards, by managing offshore Maintenance team, liaising with client, authorities and Onshore departments, thus ensuring the unit's availability, safe operation and the production and revenue target achievement, contributing to the business continuity and its growth.

Core Responsibilities:

Guarantee the managerial support for all disciplines within the Maintenance team, by supporting Supervisors, supervising and following up status of critical services and operations for each team, in order to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all plant and machinery in the unit, as well as emergency equipment, thus contributing to the production and revenue target achievement.

Contribute to the unit's annual budget planning (expenses and investments), by participating of the corporate

planning, providing information about resources, replacements, services and materials needs and other expenses used in its activities, liaising with Supervisors to ensure accurate information.

Assure all Safety Critical Equipment are fully functional, or mitigations are enforced in order to guarantee asset and personnel`s safety by monitoring and ensuring timely closeout of SCE job orders, coasching the team abou tthe SCE principals and prmoting a culture that does`t tolerate any safety critical deviation. Furthermore, ensure that

all deferment requests for SCE Maintenance Plans are solicited by the unit, and that MOCs for SCE equipment out of operation are opened by the Maitenance team.

Contribute to an effective response to emergencies on board by being part of the Emergency Response Team,

participating in all trainings, simulations and acting properly in a real situation, in accordance with MODEC's procedures, guidelines, as well as national and international regulations and best practices.

Support OIM in assuring that MODEC`s contract with client is followed to the best interest of both parties, by complying with the installation business plan, attending meetings, audits and providing onshore teams with all required information, as well as support for the interface with the client, when requested.

Act proactively to safeguarding MODEC from noncompliance to legal/regulatory requirements by ensuring MODEC's procedures, internal and external regulations, national and international standards are followed by both

maintenance core crew and 3rd parties on board, participating in audits and inspections in the unit, developing and ensuring the implementation of action plans when required.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of MdB fleet performance by participating or leading, when required,

RCAs, investigations of NOIs/NODs, HAZID/HAZOPs, following up CAPAs, sharing lessons learned and promoting a culture of continuous seek for performance and integrity enhancement opportunities.

Guarantee the proper use of Technical Support departments, by ensuring that technical queries are properly identified, recorded in the system and always directed to Onshore departments for review/study, promoting a culture adherent to the company's systems.

Promote high-level people management on board by displaying fair leadership, effective communication,

providing performance evaluation, competence assessment, performing mentoring, coaching, training and career guidance meetings and feedbacks, periodically and under demand, implementing a culture of knowledge sharing, thus promoting the development of all Maintenance team.

Ensure the alignment of the employees with Company Objectives, Policies, Procedures and integration with Clients, Community, Suppliers and Modec do Brazil Executive Team, by leading and engaging them, providing technical and behavioral guidance and feedbacks sessions and clarifying the Career Path, in accordance with MdB's procedures and guides.

Contribute to the growth goals established for the business, as well as the improvement of existing processes, by participating and supporting the implementation of strategic and corporate projects.

Contribute so that onshore departments may properly act as Functional Managers of designated offshore positions for that unit, by managing the adherence of the department to Technical standards, guidelines and recommendations set by Technical Support departments, as well as communicating to Supervisors the roles and responsibilities during People management processes, as set by MdB People department.

Ensure the quality and adherence of the Management of Change (MOC) process in the unit, by validating and opening MOC requests, ensuring the implementation of changes, as detailed by Technical Support teams, gathering evidences on the correct implementation, and requesting extension, when required, following MODEC's procedures.

Contribute to enhance MODEC's procedures, by constantly evaluating the department activities and seeking improvement opportunities, sharing lessons learned with Technical Support departments and Operations leadership, participating in procedures' review, following MODEC's Maintenance Philosophy, manufacturer recommendation, and personnel experience.

Contribute to the proper planning of offshore activities by actively engaging in weekly scheduling meetings, morning calls, etc, being supported by Planner Offshore in the scheduling of services to be performed onboard, participating in discussions along with other Offshore leaderships. Furthermore, constantly analyze maintenance KPIs to identify offenders (such as preventive plans compliance, backlog and manpower available utilization) and work along with Onshore and Offshore teams to set action plans to mitigate deviations, engaging all Maintenance team to close any KPI/indicator gap.

Ensure the proper communication regarding the department activities developed onboard, by filling up, on daily basis, the OIM Daily Report.

Manage stocks of spare parts, consumables, tools, Marine Gas Oil (MGO Bunker according to the agreement with Client), lubricating oils and chemicals related to Maintenance Department by ensuring that offshore Maintenance discipline responsible request the necessary materials for their activities in a timely and optimized way.

Assure to communicate to the OIM and Operations Cell onshore all critical machinery and equipment deficiencies, ensuring that maintenance notes are opened and prioritized on CMMS as input for planning.

Ensure the quality of Maintenance works performed by vendors, by guaranteeing Supervisors will follow up of execution of the jobs, provide the proper condition to execute the activities, ensure all 3rd party employees are properly trained, certified and acquainted with MODEC's procedures and standards.

Contribute to the technical development of Maintenance Team, ensuring compliance with IMS document trainings in time and adherence for the competence assessment scheme, including the gap coverage trainings, by monitoring training completion and liaising with Maintenance Supervisors.

Ensure the adherence of Maintenance Team to company's CMMS procedures and guidelines, as well as the quality of information input in the systems, by perform in regular basis WO Completion quality checks, in order to ensure WO are being registered and closed appropriately.

Guarantee all IMS documents updated and being used in accordance with MODEC's management system, with associated ISO certification for ISO 900, 14000 and 45000.

If necessary, support in the activities of inspection of luggage, people and cargo on the disembark from offshore units, in compliance with NORMAM 27 item 0115, regarding dangerous items handling.

HSSE: Act in compliance with the corporate HSSEQ Management System Policy, the MODEC Life Saving Rules, and the policies, guides, process standards and work instructions available in the Integrated Management System (IMS).

Act to promote the preservation of the environment, the health and occupational safety (personnel and their team), the safety of processes, and the preservation of assets in their scale of responsibility.

Emergency Plan: As per indication on the Training Matrix, Emergency Management Guide and Offshore Emergency Management, available in the Integrated Management System (IMS).

Monitor individual performance and manage personal problems as needed, acting as leader and guiding personnel toward their best values, aiming for constructive feedbacks for the team.

Manage all conflicts involving Maintenance dept, including people management, tasks prioritization, vendors' activities, client and authorities' requirements, due to high impacts that may arise due to poor management of conflicts.

Conduct the maintenance team during extraordinary period of crises, due to the necessity of high engagement, effort and accountability in order to maintain safety and operational standards and avoid major events.

Implement a culture of ownership mindset over O&M, in order to comply with planned works, while dealing with the constant challenges and replans required on day-to-day, due to the highly dynamic reality of Operations.

Properly communicate the team regarding contractual obligations, client's requirement and MODEC's standards,due to the high complexity of processes, contracts and stakeholders involved.

High School Degree is required.

Technical Degree is required

Bachelor's Degree is a competitive edge.

Maintenance Supervisor certification is required (MOU preferred).

Maintenance Supervisor License is required.

Marine Chief Engineer License is a competitive edge.

Minimum 10 years overall experience is expected.

Minimum 5 years experience in offshore Oil & Gas sector is expected.

Previous experience as offshore O&G unit maintenance supervisor (Topside, Engine Room, or equivalent position) is required.

Proficency English is required for communication to internal and external stakeholders

Intermediate Portuguese has a competitive edge for communications to internal and external stakeholders.
