Requirements:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of Sembawang Cable Depot's storage facilities for submarine cable spares.
- Maintain accurate records of all stored cables, spare parts, and equipment, tracking their movements and allocation.
- Assign and manage maintenance tasks for depot staff.
- Arrange labor for cable transfers and internal operations.
- Coordinate with cable system owners, suppliers, and shipping agents for incoming spares and equipment, ensuring proper documentation.
- Continuously improve depot operations and processes.
- Prepare and submit reports on cable spare movements and monthly status updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a relevant industry.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel machinery.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and service-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with hands-on, outdoor work.
- Knowledge of submarine fiber optics is a plus.
