Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the production machines and ensure tasks performed are completed within full cGMP compliance
• Operate the production machines and ensure production meets daily output
• Perform mould set-up and mould insert cleaning as and when required
• Use optical and mechanical devices for measurement and inspection of moulded parts
• Perform in-process quality inspection during production to ensure the quality of products meet specifications
• Perform troubleshooting, servicing, calibration and preventive maintenance on production machines, jigs or fixtures
• Support new machines setup
• Perform tasks in accordance to safety procedures to ensure plant safety
• Perform data collection and recording of machine and process data on specified data log book or record sheet
• Ensure all processes and activities carried out are consistent and comply with approved procedures and meet quality standards

Experience

• Minimum NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in a fully automated manufacturing environment
• Must have hands-on experience in both electrical and mechanical components.
• Good understanding of electrical and/or mechanical diagrams
• Possess knowledge in polymer engineering / science / manufacture and experience with moulding high precision parts will be an added advantage
• Able to perform 12 hours shift work and is willing to work overtime on both weekdays and weekends when required
• Willing to work in clean room environment
• Responsible and independent worker who requires minimal supervision
• Must be a team player
