Established in 1981, the SCHOOL OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING (EEE) is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. With about 120 faculty members and an enrolment of more than 4,000, of which about 1,000 are graduate students.

\nResponsibilities\nThe job holder is expected to make useful contributions to fulfil the University's vision and mission. Specifically, the candidate is expected to:\n- Develop and lead an innovative research programme of international quality\n- Publish high quality papers in reputable peer-reviewed journals\n- Secure competitive research grants and develop research programmes\n- Supervise research personnel\n- Contribute to teaching and course development at the undergraduate and\npostgraduate levels\n- Supervise undergraduate and graduate students undertaking research projects.\n- Undertake administrative and/or leadership roles.\n- Contribute to other service-related activities assigned by School and University.\n- Contribute to professional services

\nRequirements\nCandidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:\n- A Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering or in a relevant discipline with an outstanding scholarship record and a strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching.\n- Extensive knowledge of within his/her fields of research\n- Ability and strong drive to lead and contribute to inter-disciplinary research and\nlarge-scale projects for key applications\n- Evidence of a developing international reputation in his/her field of research, for example fellowships, awards, invited presentations at international conferences, journal editorships or otherwise.\n- Established track record of academic publications of international quality.\n- Proven track record of securing funding as Co-I or lead investigator.
