The Electrical Manager (ACMV) is responsible for managing and overseeing all electrical works related to ACMV systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

This role provides leadership to site and engineering teams, works closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients, and plays a key role in driving quality, safety compliance, and effective coordination across all project stages-from planning and execution through to testing, commissioning, and handover.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage electrical works related to ACMV systems across assigned projects
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor project execution to meet programme, cost, and quality objectives
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, statutory requirements, and workplace safety regulations
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to electrical supervisors, engineers, and site teams
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other trades to resolve technical and site issues
  • Review method statements, shop drawings, and risk assessments related to electrical ACMV works
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and rectification activities
  • Monitor work progress, workmanship quality, and resource deployment on site
  • Manage subcontractor performance, including progress claims, variations, and evaluations
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Prepare and review project reports, progress updates, and handover documentation
  • Support project handover, as-built documentation, and post-completion defect management

Requirements:
  • Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in electrical works for ACMV or building services projects, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, power distribution, and controls related to ACMV systems
  • Good understanding of local electrical codes, workplace safety regulations, and industry standards
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across disciplines
  • Ability to review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Able to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision
  • Effective communication and team management skills
