Job Summary

The Lift Maintenance Service Manager leads the elevator maintenance department to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient lift system operations. You will manage maintenance, breakdown, and emergency service calls while driving team performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee elevator maintenance operations, including preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, emergency responses, and modernization projects to ensure operational reliability and safety
  • Develop and implement standardized service procedures and work orders to optimize service delivery timelines and quality
  • Manage service contracts by coordinating renewals and fostering customer retention through proactive engagement
  • Supervise and lead a team of elevator technicians by recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance to meet operational goals
  • Motivate and mentor technicians to enhance their technical skills and achieve high performance standards
  • Cultivate a positive work environment that prioritizes safety, teamwork, and exceptional customer service
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers such as building owners and property managers by conducting regular visits and addressing service needs
  • Proactively resolve customer concerns and service issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal service staff to coordinate service activities and updates
  • Utilize information technology and computer systems, including Google Docs and Quickbooks, to manage service documentation and reporting
