RoleSummary

Responsiblefor the installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of electrical wiring,fixtures, and building electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operationin accordance with Singapore standards and regulations.

KeyResponsibilities

1.Electrical Installation

Install,repair, and replace electrical wiring, conduits, switches, sockets, lightingfixtures, and distribution boards.

Runcable trays, trunking, conduits, and perform proper cable pulling andtermination.

Installpower points, lighting circuits, isolators, and DB components in residential,commercial, and industrial buildings.

2.Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Diagnoseelectrical faults, circuit failures, tripping issues, and wiring defects.

Performcorrective and preventive maintenance on building electrical systems.

Troubleshootlighting, power failures, and equipment malfunction safely.

3.Compliance & Safety

Ensureall electrical works follow SS638, EMA regulations, and workplace safety rules.

Conductinsulation resistance tests, continuity tests, polarity checks, and safetyverification.

Ensureproper grounding/earthing systems are installed and maintained.

4.Testing & Commissioning

Performtesting before energizing circuits and equipment.

Preparetest reports and assist in handover documentation.

Ensureall installations meet inspection standards.

5.Coordination & Site Work

Coordinatewith supervisors, engineers, and contractors to complete work on schedule.

Readand interpret electrical drawings, layout plans, schematics, and workinstructions.

Assistin material handling, equipment setup, and site preparation tasks.

Skills& Competencies

Strongknowledge of building electrical systems and wiring practices.

Abilityto read electrical drawings and understand circuit layouts.

Skilledin troubleshooting and repairing building electrical faults.

Familiarwith electrical tools and testing equipment (multimeter, megger, etc.).

Goodunderstanding of safety procedures and electrical code requirements.

QualificationRequirements

NITEC/ ITI / Diploma in Electrical or equivalent.

1-5years' experience in building wiring and electrical maintenance.
