Key Responsibilities

Partial Discharge (PD) On-Site Testing

• Perform PD testing on HV assets (switchgear, transformers, cables).
• Use PD equipment: acoustic, thermal, UHF, TEV, HF sensors.
• Operate PD analysis software and follow IEC/IEEE standards.
• Record test data: readings, conditions, asset info and generate field test reports.

Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Site Work

• Supervise electrical installation work to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Read and interpret single-line diagrams.
• Oversee installation of LV switchgear, distribution boards, and wiring.
• Perform switching operations on LV systems.
• Diagnose basic electrical faults.
• Submit reports and diagrams to EMA/SPPG.

Work Conditions

• 70% field work, 30% work-from-home.
• No office attendance required.
• Work sites include substations and commercial/industrial facilities.
• High responsibility role with focus on safety and compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 1+ years of experience with PD and/or LEW.
• Training will be provided for those without experience.
• Able to work independently and outdoors.
• Comfortable with hands- on physical tasks and flexible hours (Inc. Weekends/PH).

Bonus Skills

• Ability to read Python code.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software.
