The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly experienced and vigilant Security Manager to oversee all aspects of security operations at the newly revitalized 1939. This critical role requires a proactive leader who can develop, implement, and manage comprehensive security strategies for a vibrant, multi-level F&B establishment, including late-night bar operations. You will be responsible for creating a safe and secure environment while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Operations Management: Develop, implement, and monitor security procedures, policies, and protocols across all four floors of the venue.
• Team Leadership & Oversight: Manage, train, and supervise in-house security personnel (if applicable) and/or oversee outsourced security providers and their performance.
• Incident Management: Lead the response to all security-related incidents, emergencies, and medical situations, ensuring proper documentation and escalation.
• Crowd & Access Control: Implement effective crowd management strategies, particularly for high-traffic periods and bar operations, and manage access control points.
• CCTV & Surveillance: Oversee the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the CCTV and other security surveillance systems.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct regular security risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Compliance & Liaison: Ensure full compliance with all relevant security, safety, and fire regulations in Singapore. Act as the primary liaison with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
• Safety & Fire Systems: Familiarity with fire alarm systems, emergency exits, and overall fire safety procedures, ensuring their proper functionality and staff awareness.
• Loss Prevention: Implement strategies to prevent theft, vandalism, and other losses of company assets.
• Guest & Staff Safety: Proactively identify and address potential safety hazards for guests and staff, providing a secure and comfortable environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in security management, with significant exposure to the hospitality, F&B, or entertainment sector (e.g., hotels, clubs, large restaurants).
• Proven experience in managing security operations for multi-level venues with high foot traffic.
• Strong knowledge of security systems (CCTV, access control) and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and motivate a security team or external vendors.
• Valid security officer license and relevant security certifications (e.g., WSQ security courses, Certified Protection Professional (CPP) is a plus).
• Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and reporting requirements related to security and emergency response.
• First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
