- Manage the performance and availability of a portfolio of cybersecurity platforms including but not limited to endpoint protection, identity governance, network security, data loss prevention, cloud security, and SIEM/SOAR tools.
- Drive effective handling of incidents, troubleshooting efforts, and problem analysis. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex platform-level issues swiftly.
- Monitor security platforms for emerging vulnerabilities, evaluate patch impacts, and coordinate timely patch application with minimal disruption to service continuity.
- Identify opportunities to streamline platform support through automation and enhanced runbooks. Maintain and evolve SOPs, ensuring they are current and reflective of operational best practices.
- Support the lifecycle of security technologies from initial evaluation and proof-of-concept to full-scale implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Act as a trusted technical partner to technology and business stakeholders, ensuring platform strategies align with organizational risk posture and compliance mandates.
- Continually assess the maturity and efficiency of platform operations, proposing enhancements that contribute to resilience, scalability, and risk reduction.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of IT/cybersecurity experience, ideally within financial services or highly regulated environments.
- Hands-on experience with security solutions across multiple domains (e.g., EDR/XDR, firewalls, IAM, DLP, CSPM, SIEM).
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux administration, TCP/IP networking, and enterprise IT architecture.
- Exposure to modern cloud security practices (e.g., AWS, Azure) and container security is advantageous.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics tools.
- Experience in scripting (Python preferred) to automate security tasks and enrich platform telemetry.
- CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
