Job Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue opportunities through effective rate negotiation and proactive securities lending and borrowing strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with counterparties, including institutional borrowers and lenders.
• Monitor market trends and developments to provide timely insights and commentaries to internal stakeholders.
• Estimate and track revenue performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
• Manage the onboarding process for new counterparties, ensuring compliance and operational readiness.
• Oversee the functionality and performance of the SBL system, working closely with technology teams to support enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal teams across trading, sales, operations, compliance, and risk to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
• Support regional expansion initiatives and contribute to the integration of Securities Financing within the broader Prime ecosystem.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in securities lending and borrowing, prime brokerage, or securities financing within a financial institution
• Strong understanding of securities lending and borrowing markets and rate negotiation
• Familiarity with SBL systems and trading platforms; experience with system enhancements or implementation
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, counterparties, and internal teams (trading, sales, operations, risk, and compliance)
• Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset
