A Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of premises, personnel, and assets. Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorized activities, ensure all entry and exit points are secure, and monitor CCTV systems for suspicious behaviour. • Manage the flow of people and vehicles in and out of premises, verify identification, issue visitor passes, and prevent unauthorised access.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents such as theft, vandalism, or medical emergencies; provide assistance and support as required. • Assist visitors,• Uphold and enforce building or organisational rules, regulations, and security procedures. tenants, and staff with directions and information; act as a point of contact for security-related enquiries. • Strong verbal and w• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods; physically capable of responding to emergencies.ritten communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and reporting.
