Our Client is fast growing multi billion dollar company with heavy investment in AI and Data, With aggressive expansion plan, they are now looking hire their Senior Data Engineer to be based here in Singapore.

About the job

Your role involves:

• Embedding security, privacy, and compliance into the very core of our AI systems.
• Ensure our cutting-edge AI solutions are not only powerful but also principled, enabling secure-by-design deployments across the entire company.
• Act as the central point of collaboration between our Group Security and Data Governance teams, ensuring AI platform designs align with enterprise security policies and compliance mandates
• Translate Policy into Practice: Convert governance requirements and regulatory obligations, such as PDPA, into concrete technical specifications and enforceable controls for both cloud and on-premise environments.
• Mitigate Advanced Risks: Conduct specialized AI risk assessments to identify and address threats like model misuse, data leakage, adversarial attacks, and LLM prompt vulnerabilities.
• Champion Privacy: Integrate advanced privacy-preserving mechanisms such as data anonymization, encryption, and tokenization directly into AI workflows.
• Curate Best-in-Class Tools: Evaluate and recommend leading AI security and governance tools (e.g., AWS Guardrails, Azure Responsible AI) to enhance our capabilities.
• Be the Expert: Review and approve the integration of third-party AI services and open-source models from a security and compliance perspective, championing best practices across the organization

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will have at least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or data governance, with at least 3 years specifically focused on AI or cloud-based ML systems. You have proven expertise in implementing robust data protection on AI platforms. Exposure to data privacy controls (encryption, tokenization) and security frameworks like Zero Trust or OWASP for ML will be of added advantage.
