The Security Manager is tasked with leading and overseeing security operations in accordance with company policies and local regulations. This position encompasses the management of security strategies, crisis response, risk evaluations, and the maintenance of business continuity. The manager serves as a vital link between internal teams, local authorities, and external security partners to ensure thorough security coverage and regulatory compliance.
  • Regional Security Management: Oversee security operations throughout the SEA region, develop strategies tailored to local risks, conduct risk assessments, and ensure that crisis and emergency protocols are established and regularly tested, with 24/7 readiness for emergencies.
  • Security Intelligence and Monitoring: Monitor emerging threats, geopolitical developments, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and keep leadership informed of necessary security adaptations.
  • Implementation of Security Strategies: Guarantee legal compliance, coordinate security plans for new locations and special events, manage travel security, and work closely with IT and operations teams on the installation and upkeep of security systems.
  • Vendor Management & Stakeholder Engagement: Manage budgets, negotiate with security and safety vendors, serve as the primary security contact for the region, collaborate with internal departments and external agencies, lead incident investigations, and provide regular security training to enhance awareness and preparedness.
  • Building Strategic Security Partnerships: Develop and sustain strong relationships with external security stakeholders to improve situational awareness, coordination, and response capabilities.
  • Incident Management and Investigations: Lead and manage investigations of security incidents in the region, ensuring thorough documentation and communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Security Training: Promote a culture of security awareness in the region, ensuring that all employees are well-versed in security procedures and emergency protocols

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in security management, ideally in a regional or multi-country context.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and executing security strategies and crisis management plans.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in conducting comprehensive risk assessments and formulating mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with internal teams, local authorities, and external security partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and manage emergencies effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
