Job Responsibilities

• Perform receiving and sorting of specimens, assessing suitability of specimens for testing, data entry of test requests, and rejection of specimens that are unsuitable for testing.
• Performs quality control on reagents, standards, controls, and all other testing materials and follows up with corrective actions, if required.
• Troubleshoots instrument malfunction or unacceptable quality control results and initiates corrective action when necessary.
• Performs laboratory testing for specimens in accordance to the policies and procedures as outlined in the work instructions
• Supports the Section Leader in operational and administrative matters.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and above in Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or any other equivalent qualification.
