Location: Singapore or Beijing, China

We are seeking a Geologist to support our overseas mining mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities. The role focuses on geological evaluation, technical due diligence and on-site assessments of international mining projects, working closely with a team of senior mining and investment professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Evaluation & Feasibility: Assist the company's mining experts in conducting geological assessments, technical studies and preliminary feasibility analyses of overseas mining projects.
• M&A & Mineral Rights Support: Support the acquisition of overseas mineral rights, including project information collection, data compilation and technical due diligence.
• External Stakeholder Interface: Act as a key point of contact between the company and overseas project owners, mineral rights holders and sellers, helping to build and maintain strong working relationships.
• Support for Commercial Negotiations: Participate in the geological and technical aspects of commercial discussions to ensure that projects align with the company's strategic objectives and technical standards.
• Documentation & Reporting :Prepare project-related technical documents, reports and presentations. Draft and/or translate meeting minutes and technical materials to support smooth communication across international teams.
• Site Visits & Field Work: Conduct overseas site visits, field investigations and on-the-ground geological reviews as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Geosciences or a related discipline; a relevant Master's/PhD is preferred, or equivalent years of relevant experience.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese (spoken and written), with strong business communication, coordination and interpersonal skills, and the confidence to interact effectively across cultures and disciplines.
• Able to participate professionally in technical discussions and cross-border collaboration.
• Solid understanding of fundamental concepts in mineral exploration and resource evaluation.
• Some practical experience preferred (e.g. internships, field surveys, sampling, geological logging, or technical report writing).
• Initial knowledge of, or strong interest in, international mining markets and the process of acquiring mining rights.
• Willing and able to undertake overseas travel and adapt to on-site mine environments on an as-needed basis.
