Accounts Assistant

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, invoice processing, and payments
  • Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist in monthly closing activities, including journal entries and bank reconciliations
  • Support GST submission and other statutory filings in compliance with Singapore regulations
  • Maintain proper filing and recordkeeping for compliance purposes
  • Liaise with internal teams on billing and payment matters
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules for management review
  • Provide general administrative support as required
  • Assist and support in contract management and project tracking

Requirements

  • Diploma in Accountancy, Accounting & Finance
  • 0-2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in an SME environment
  • Familiar with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Million or MYOB (experience with Xero preferred)
  • Knowledge of Singapore's financial reporting and tax requirements (e.g., GST)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
