Business Development Manager (Contract Logistics / 3PL)

Job Description
  1. Perform business development to develop market share to achieve company objectives, revenue targets & KPIs
  2. Implement/Refine/Execute the overall sales & marketing strategies to achieve goals
  3. Secure potential business deals/partnerships, generate new clients & business revenues
  4. Proactively cultivate mutually beneficial sales relationships with new & potential clients
  5. Provide recommendations or make decisions to establish new successful business
  6. Support Director in reviewing business performance, evaluation & budgets for the team & organisation.
  7. Supports Accounts Receivables and ageing issues where required
  8. Ad-hoc duties assigned by superior

Requirements
  1. 5 years of working experience and proven track record of success in new business development or sales roles within the 3PL or contract logistics industry
  2. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills to engage with senior-level stakeholders
  3. Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
  4. Familiarity with logistics operations, supply chain management and contract logistics services
  5. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  6. Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field
