Responsibilities:
- Hunt, identify, and engage potential customers, understanding their specific needs and tailoring solutions to meet their requirements.
- Develop long-term customer relationships and collaborate on innovative, compelling supply chain solutions.
- Grow the revenue and profit of the Contract Logistics (CL) business by securing new wins and increasing the size and quality of target accounts.
- Lead and manage RFQ responses for contract logistics opportunities.
- Maintain synergy with cross-functional teams including Solutions & Engineering, Operations, and IT to deliver customer requirements effectively.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients.
- Undertake cross-selling and up-selling within the existing customer base to develop account potential through contract logistics.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, aiming to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions within the CRM system.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Logistics & Supply Chain, or related fields.
- Relevant years of business development or field sales experience, preferably within the APAC contract logistics market.
- Past APAC regional exposure will be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within APAC for business requirements.
- Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets with a results-driven mindset.
