Business Development Executive / Manager

Salary: SGD 6,000 - 9,000

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the end-to-end business development process across cross-border and omnichannel landscapes-from lead generation, pitching, proposal development, and contract negotiation to onboarding and long-term relationship management.
  • Take full ownership of individual and team performance targets; be highly result-oriented and proactive in achieving business goals.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the company's end-to-end omnichannel service offerings across markets and platforms, including online (Lazada, Shopee, TikTok, Tmall, etc.) and offline retail; tailor solutions to client needs based on strategic insight and market analysis.
  • Keep abreast of global eCommerce, retail, and consumer trends; work with internal stakeholders to develop innovative go-to-market strategies.
  • Act as a solutions partner by liaising across internal departments (e.g., operations, finance, tech, sales, marketing) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Build and expand relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new opportunities in both existing and untapped cross-border markets.
  • Forge and manage strategic partnerships with key eCommerce and retail platforms, brand owners, and distribution networks to unlock new collaboration avenues.
  • Maintain and expand a robust pipeline through cold outreach, inbound lead handling, and nurturing warm prospects via CRM systems.
  • Analyze market intelligence, industry trends, and commercial data to support business strategy formulation and competitive positioning.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, preferably in cross-border and/or omnichannel retail or eCommerce.
  • Familiarity with major eCommerce platforms (e.g., Lazada, Shopee, TikTok, Tmall) and online-to-offline (O2O)strategies.
  • Experience in an eCommerce enabler, cross-border logistics, digital retail, or marketplace environment is a strong advantage.
  • Passionate about the digital commerce ecosystem and evolving consumer behaviors across markets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with commercial awareness, analytical abilities, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Technologically savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Adaptive, resilient, and collaborative-able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
