About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Development & Marketing Intern to join our passionate team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both expanding our organisational reach and amplifying our mission through strategic marketing efforts. You will play a crucial role in identifying new partnership opportunities, developing compelling outreach strategies, and creating engaging content that resonates with our target audience. Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

• Research and identify potential partners, collaborators, and sponsors (e.g., educational institutions, community organizations, sustainable brands, corporate CSR teams).
• Assist in drafting compelling proposals and presentations for partnership pitches and funding applications.
• Support outreach efforts, including preparing introductory emails and scheduling meetings.
• Contribute to developing new program ideas and initiatives that align with Fashion Parade's mission.
• Assist in managing existing partnership relationships.

Marketing & Communications:

• Support with the development and execution of engaging content for Fashion Parade's social media channels (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn posts, stories), aligning with our brand voice and marketing calendar.
• Assist in creating marketing materials such as flyers, event banners, and digital graphics.
• Conduct market research to identify trending topics and effective communication strategies within the sustainable fashion and youth engagement sectors.
• Support the creation of email newsletters and website content updates.
• Monitor and analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in preparing media kits and press releases for upcoming events and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, Environmental Studies, Fashion Management, or a related field.
• Strong passion for sustainability, ethical fashion, and youth empowerment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required; additional languages a plus).
• Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and a good understanding of current digital trends.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design and editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, Capcut) is a plus.
• Proactive, self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Prior experience in volunteer work, club leadership, or similar roles is a bonus.
