Business Development Manager, Marketing / Admin Manager - Certification Body

We are seeking a results-oriented and versatile Business Development Manager, Marketing / Admin Manager to lead the commercial growth, marketing strategy, and administrative operations of our ISO certification business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the ISO certification industry, preferably with experience in working similar industry.

This multi-functional role demands strong leadership in client acquisition, service promotion, operational support, and coordination with auditors and technical teams to deliver seamless and compliant certification services.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of combined experience in sales, marketing, and administrative roles, preferably within the certification, inspection, or testing industry.
  • Experience working with or for an accredited certification body is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, client engagement, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-functional responsibilities under tight deadlines.
  • knowledge of ISO standards and certification body workflow - added advantage
  • Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and digital marketing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales (B2B)
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the certification, inspection, and training sectors.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle-from lead generation and proposal development to contract finalization and client onboarding.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with consultants, corporate clients, and industry associations.
  • Track and report key sales performance indicators such as pipeline status, conversion ratios, and revenue growth trends.

2. Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
  • Plan and implement both digital and traditional marketing initiatives to promote ISO certification services (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001).
  • Manage and update the organization's online presence, including the corporate website, LinkedIn page, and email marketing platforms.
  • Develop professional marketing materials such as brochures, infographics, case studies, social media content, and client success highlights.
  • Represent the company at industry events including exhibitions, conferences, webinars, and seminars to build brand visibility and credibility.
  • Ensure all marketing claims, certificate usage, and promotional content are aligned with accreditation body rules and guidelines.
