• Position : Accounts Assistant - (Simple Accounting/ Data Entry/ AR/AP/GL)
• Location : Changi Airfreight Centre
• Working hours : 5 days a week - Monday-Thursday (8am-6pm) / Friday (9am-6pm)
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3200 + Performance Bonus
• Duration : Permanent

Responsibilities

• Accounting Data entry
• Responsible for Accounts Receivable, Account Payable & General Ledger
• To liaise with supplier / forwarder for imports, shipments losses / survey & cost verification
• Assist in preparation and closing of management accounts reporting.
• Responsible for quarterly reports & GST submission
• Co-ordination and support of year end audits, tax filing and company secretarial matter.
• Communication to clients, brokers, insurers, auditors, and tax agents
• General office administration duties
• Process staff reimbursement and claim forms.
• Oversee the contracts and documentations of the operations.
• Liaise with customers, shipping agents & terminal operators.
• Provide regular update to HQ.
• Computer skill and knowledge of relevant software

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or LCCI in Accounting
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Familiar with vessel operations is an advantage
• Can liaise with ship owner account opening
