The Beuro is a leading furniture retailer specializing in high-quality designer furniture solutions. We are expanding our contract furniture division, providing furniture solutions for commercial projects, including offices, hospitality, and residential developments. We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth by building relationships with architects, interior designers, and property developers.

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will spearhead our contract furniture business, focusing on B2B sales and partnerships. You will identify and engage with architects, interior designers, and developers to secure contracts for furniture supply in commercial and residential projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent networking skills, a passion for design, and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and target architects, interior designers, and property developers to build a robust pipeline of opportunities for contract furniture projects.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in architecture firms, design studios, and development companies.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for the contract furniture division.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand project requirements, provide furniture solutions, and coordinate with internal teams for customization and delivery.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities in the contract furniture market.
  • Networking: Represent The Beuro at industry events, trade shows, and design expos to promote our brand and offerings.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in business development or B2B sales, preferably in the premium furniture, interior design, or construction industries.
  • Network: Existing relationships with architects, interior designers, or property developers is a strong plus.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport with high-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with furniture design, commercial project requirements, and industry standards.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
