Business Development Manager


ORIENTAL REMEDIES INCORPORATED (PRIVATE LIMITED)
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic corporate sales initiatives, with a supporting role in event planning and execution. This role focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities with corporate clients, while also contributing to the success of company events that support business development goals.

Responsibilities:

Corporate Sales (Primary Focus):
  • Identify and prospect new corporate clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments with prospective clients to understand their business objectives and offer tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress towards goals.

Event Support (Supporting Role):
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events with business partners.
  • Attend events to network with potential clients, build relationships, and generate leads.
  • Gather feedback from event attendees and provide recommendations for future improvements.
  • Track event attendance and outcomes, and report on the effectiveness of events in generating business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and maximize attendance

Job Requirements
  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Business, Events Management or equivalent.
  • Preferably candidates with prior business development experience.
  • Strong project management and organization skills.
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess budget management and financial acumen.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to adapt quickly to situations and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office software and Google Suite.
