About the Role

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to help us source, evaluate, and secure high-impact datasets that can drive alpha in our trading strategies.

This role requires a rare combination: someone who understands the rapidly evolving world of digital assets, has a strong foundational grasp of alternative data, and can think both like a vendor and like a trader. You'll be responsible for identifying valuable data sources working closely with quant teams to assess their impact and viability.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and assess crypto-focused alternative datasets.
• Build and manage relationships with crypto data providers, analytics firms, and infrastructure platforms.
• Collaborate closely with quant researchers and developers to align data sourcing with strategy development needs.
• Monitor data usage trends across the digital asset space, while proactively identifying underutilized or emerging data sources.
• Evaluate data from both a technical and commercial lens: structure, licensing, usability, and alpha potential.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data sourcing, business development, or vendor relations.
• Working knowledge of crypto markets, blockchain data, and the alternative data landscape in digital assets.
• Comfortable manipulating and evaluating data using tools like Excel, Python, or SQL.
• Strong communication skills; able to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-moving, frontier environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in both traditional and crypto markets is a plus.
• Exposure to both vendor-side and buy-side dynamics
