Reports to: Director of Sales & Assistant Director of Sales
- Basic Salary - S$ 4,000 - 6,000 max (allowance + Commission)
- Working time: 8.30am to 6pm
- Working location: Near City Hall
Objective
Drive revenue growth by promoting the hotel (and sister properties in Singapore) through lead generation, new account acquisition, and market segmentation. Mentor junior sales teams in proactive sales techniques.
Key Performance Metrics
- Financial: Achieve hotel budget targets.
- Customer: Account productivity and portfolio results.
- Learning & Growth: Team development and market penetration.
Responsibilities
Revenue & Sales
- Achieve revenue targets for assigned accounts; provide weekly updates.
- Convert group/event leads with reactive sales teams.
- Research and prioritize key markets/accounts; maximize new business opportunities.
- Develop action plans with measurable strategies; monitor sales trends and forecasts.
Account & Relationship Management
- Maintain client relationships for long-term business.
- Collaborate with Assistant/Director of Sales on key accounts.
- Host client meetings, entertainment, and PR activities.
Operations & Collaboration
- Align with all departments for seamless execution.
- Respond to sales leads same-day; ensure accurate invoicing/credit checks.
- Uphold hotel SOPs, policies, and company values.
Administrative
- Track clients in Company System; schedule regular visi
- Submit weekly sales summaries, competitor reports, and monthly account analyses.
- Record daily calls, production stats, and attend briefings as needed.
Talent & Culture
- Professional representation of the hotel.
- Support team development; attend Typsy/platform training.
- Adhere to dress code and employee handbook policies.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years in hotel business development.
- Diploma (hospitality or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Opera System preferred.
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends/holidays.
