- We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new business growth in the logistics and supply chain sector. This is a hunter role focused on identifying and securing new clients across industries, with a strong emphasis on third-party logistics (3PL) solutions. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in B2B sales within the logistics industry, particularly in freight forwarding, contract logistics, and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and acquire new business opportunities across multiple industry sectors for logistics and supply chain solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, presenting tailored 3PL solutions that meet their supply chain needs.
- Develop and deliver customized logistics proposals, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and integrated supply chain solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging business opportunities, and competitor activity.
- Execute effective go-to-market strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, pricing, and customer service) to deliver seamless client solutions.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the 3PL logistics industry.
- Strong business development skills with a proven track record of securing new accounts.
- Understanding of international freight, warehousing, distribution, and value-added logistics services.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Highly driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently to achieve sales goals.
- Existing network within the logistics industry and prior experience with large 3PL providers.
