Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with SME clients, understanding their financial needs and business goals.
• Act as the primary contact, addressing inquiries and providing tailored financial solutions.
• Identify and pursue new lending opportunities while conducting credit assessments and risk analyses.
• Structure and negotiate loan terms in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage SME loan portfolios, monitor repayment behaviour, and address credit risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams for accurate loan processing and documentation.
• Provide financial advisory services and assist clients through loan applications and disbursement.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in commercial banking, SME lending, or relationship management, with expertise in business development and credit analysis.
• Proven ability to originate and manage SME loan portfolios, achieve lending targets, and mitigate credit risks.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to assess business financial statements, evaluate credit risk factors, and perform cash flow modelling.
• Solid understanding of credit underwriting standards, loan structuring methods, and risk mitigation strategies in SME lending.
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong networking skills with the ability to establish relationships with key stakeholders in the SME community.
• Fluent in Mandarin & English to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
