ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT


SPRING VALLEY SHIPPING MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD.
Duties encompassing but not restricted to:

Review and verify vendor invoices to delivery order/service order for accuracy and completeness.

Review vendor statements of accounts (SOA) and cross-check with internal records to ensure all invoices are accounted for.

Regularly reviewing and following up outstanding payment to suppliers/vendors.

Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors via electronic transfer, or other methods.

Ensure payments and processes comply with company policies and applicable regulations.

Resolve payment discrepancies and vendor inquires.

Ensure accurate record-keeping of all payment transactions in company's book.

Prepare documents and reports for audit and year-end closing.

Perform other duties as assigned by account manager & CFO.

Qualifications:

Diploma in accounting and/or finance or equivalent in professional accounting body.

Minimum 1 year working experience in a related field

Proficient in MS office applications especially MS Excel.

Good command of English.

Work experience with shipping company is preferred
