Role Summary

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will champion our incubatees' expansion into new territories. You will develop and execute strategic market entry plans, establish key partnerships, and represent Ripple2Wave and its startups at industry events. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the regional footprint of emerging water technologies, particularly in neighbouring countries such as Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Expansion Strategy:\tDevelop comprehensive strategies to penetrate new markets, identify \tpotential customer segments, and prioritise growth opportunities for \tincubatees.
• Partnership Development:\tForge strategic alliances with industry players, distributors, \tgovernment bodies, and commercialisation partners to facilitate \tpilot projects and sales channels.
• Representation and Networking:\tServe as an ambassador for Ripple2Wave's portfolio at \tinternational trade shows, conferences, and networking events, \tamplifying both our brand and that of our startups.
• Competitive Analysis:\tContinuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and \tregulatory landscapes to provide timely insights and recommendations \tto incubatees.
• Funding and Grant Support:\tIdentify relevant grants, funding schemes, and sponsorships to \tbolster the financial resources of the incubatees and drive \tlong-term growth.
• Collaboration with Incubation Team:\tWork in tandem with the Incubation Manager to ensure startups \treceive the necessary support and resources to realise market \topportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a \trelated field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business \tdevelopment, sales, or partnership management, ideally within the \ttechnology or sustainability sectors.
• Proven track record of expanding business into \tnew markets, especially within Southeast Asia.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and networking \tskills.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder \trelationships and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
