Senior Sales Manager (Education & EdTech)


Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales development and relationship management for key accounts, identifying and converting new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market presence in schools, education institutions, and related sectors.
  • Source, develop, and manage new accounts and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, product presentations, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Provide high-quality account servicing and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and solution presentations tailored to client requirements.
  • Identify, prepare, and manage government tender submissions, including coordinating required documentation, compliance requirements, and bid proposals.
  • Monitor and pursue relevant public sector procurement opportunities and framework contracts.
  • Source, plan, and lead participation in relevant industry conferences, trade shows, and education events.
  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline/funnel and submit accurate, timely sales forecasts and reports.
  • Work closely with product, technical, and marketing teams to align solutions with market needs.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, IT, Marketing, or related fields.
  • 5–8 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in education technology, software solutions, or the education sector.
  • Experience handling government tenders, RFP/RFQ submissions, and public sector procurement processes is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, account management, and closing deals.
  • Experience selling software platforms, digital solutions, or SaaS products is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with preparing technical proposals, quotations, and solution-based sales presentations.
  • Strong network within schools, education institutions, or training organisations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong client relationship management and consultative selling capabilities.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Willing to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events when required.
