Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the ACMV sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, consultants, main contractors, and building owners
  • Achieve sales targets and revenue KPIs
  • Develop strategic sales plans to expand market share

2. Tender & Proposal Management

  • Source and monitor government and private tenders (e.g., via GeBIZ)
  • Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and presentations
  • Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for technical submissions
  • Lead contract negotiations and closing

3. Market & Client Management

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Monitor construction pipeline projects in Singapore
  • Manage key accounts and long-term service contracts
  • Follow up on leads and maintain CRM records

4. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with M&E engineers, project managers, and procurement teams
  • Provide sales forecasts and monthly performance reports to management
  • Represent the company in networking events and industry exhibitions

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in business development or sales within ACMV / M&E industry
  • Proven track record in securing projects in Singapore
  • Strong network with consultants, developers, and main contractors
