Chun Tsubaki is a boutique creative production studio specialising in food, beverage, lifestyle, and hospitality brands.
We work with regional and international clients across Singapore and Bangkok, delivering photography, videography, and social-first content rooted in craft, clarity, and strong execution.

We're looking for a Business Development Manager (Client Accounts) to help grow the business while owning long-term client relationships end-to-end.

Role Overview

This is a BD-led role with client account ownership.

You will:
  • Drive new business opportunities
  • Manage and grow assigned client accounts
  • Act as the bridge between clients and internal creative / production teams

This is not a pure sales role and not a pure account servicing role - it is designed for someone who values continuity, trust, and long-term partnerships.

Scope split (approx.):
  • 70% Business Development
  • 30% Account Management

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities (retainers, campaigns, ad-hoc projects)
  • Pitch Chun Tsubaki's services to potential clients
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, scopes, and usage discussions
  • Build long-term client relationships rather than one-off sales
  • Represent the company in client meetings and presentations

Client Account Management

  • Own assigned client accounts post-onboarding
  • Serve as the main point of contact for ongoing clients
  • Manage timelines, expectations, and feedback flow
  • Work closely with producers, creatives, and regional teams (SG & BKK)
  • Ensure projects remain aligned with agreed scope, budget, and quality

Commercial & Internal Alignment

  • Support invoicing, renewals, and retainer discussions
  • Flag risks, scope creep, or misalignment early
  • Maintain clean documentation and handover clarity internally

KPIs & Success Metrics

  • New business revenue generated
  • Retainer acquisition and renewal rate
  • Client satisfaction & retention
  • Quality of briefs and project handovers
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships smoothly

Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience in business development, account management, or client servicing
  • Background in creative agencies, production houses, marketing, or content studios is highly preferred
  • Comfortable discussing budgets, scopes, timelines, and deliverables
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Able to manage multiple clients and priorities concurrently
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written)

Nice to have
  • Experience with food, lifestyle, hospitality, or FMCG brands
  • Regional exposure (SEA / Bangkok projects)
  • Understanding of photography, videography, or social media content workflows
