Business Development Manager (Singapore) - PH Talent Outsourcing to SG SMEs
Role Summary
Drive client acquisition growth for a start-up that provides Philippines-based talent to Singapore SMEs (IT, admin/ops, finance, marketing, customer support, construction back-office, etc.).
Own the top-to-bottom funnel: prospecting, discovery, solution design, proposals, negotiation, close, and handover to delivery-while maintaining compliance and excellent client experience.

Qualifications
Role Summary
Drive client acquisition growth for a start-up that provides Philippines-based talent to Singapore SMEs (IT, admin/ops, finance, marketing, customer support, construction back-office, etc.).
Own the top-to-bottom funnel: prospecting, discovery, solution design, proposals, negotiation, close, and handover to delivery-while maintaining compliance and excellent client experience.
Reports To
- Founder
- Works closely with: Talent Sourcing & Recruitment (PH), Operations/HR, Finance/Legal (contracts/invoicing).
Key Responsibilities
1) Market Development
- Define ideal customer profiles and buyer personas for SG SMEs
- Craft segment value propositions, objection-handling, and rate-card guidance.
2) Prospecting & Pipeline Generation
- Build named-account lists; run multi-channel outreach (email, calls, founder intros, associations).
- Qualify opportunities (budget, authority, need, timeline) and book discovery meetings.
- Maintain partner/referral channels (accounting firms, digital agencies, systems integrators, chambers).
3) Solution Design & Proposals
- Translate client requirements into offshore role specs (scope, seniority, tools, KPIs, shift windows).
- Propose engagement models, pricing, SLAs, and onboarding plans.
- Prepare sales documents such as proposals, contracts, etc.
4) Closing & Handover
- Lead negotiation (pricing, terms, replacement windows, notice periods).
- Run clean handover to Operations/Recruitment with signed scope, timeline, and success metrics.
5) Revenue Operations & Reporting
- Keep CRM immaculate (stages, notes, next steps, probabilities).
- Produce weekly forecast and activity reports; track win/loss and cycle time.
- Feed market intel (rates, talent supply, competitor moves) to Pricing/Recruitment.
KPIs (Quarterly unless noted)
- New clients closed and new monthly leads.
- Pipeline coverage and stage conversion rates.
- Time-to-proposal and proposal-to-close rate.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years in B2B services/staffing/outsourcing for SMEs; start-up builder mindset.
- Confident with solution selling, commercial modeling, and simple contracts.
- Strong communication with founders/owners and functional managers.
- Proficient with LinkedIn Sales Navigator(a plus), modern CRM, and light analytics.
