Requirements
- Responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within shipyard and anchorage operations.
- Builds and maintains relationships with ship owners, managers, and agents.
- Oversees proposal preparation, negotiates terms, and collaborates with operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor progress from Request for Quotation, confirmation of sales, material requisition, delivery, invoicing and collection of receivables.
- Ensure there is proper documentation and procedure of budget costing, quotation, cost control, actual and invoicing.
- Acquisition of new clients and maintain existing clients.
- Monitor and maintain department KPI which is to be reviewed during operational meeting.
- Price negotiation on tenders & quotations.
- Visit potential clients for enquiry creation & commercial discussions.
- Enquiry / Project estimation, costing, quotation, budget preparation.
- Coordination with other departments on budget & cost control.
- Reporting to management on project costing & expenses.
- Perform any other duties or tasks as reasonably assigned by management.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine Engineering (or equivalent discipline).
- Strong knowledge intendering process, quotation preparation, costing and budget control.
- Familiar with end-to-end sales cycle.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
