Key Responsibilities
Requirements
- Prepare monthly management reports, budgets, and financial forecasts for Japan HQ(Asahi Kasei Corporation).
- Perform management accounting and cost accounting analysis in a manufacturingenvironment.
- Coordinate transfer pricing matters and consolidated financial reporting with Japan HQ.
- Coordinate with Japan HQ Sales on new material registration, customer approval, andrelated commercial processes.
- Coordinate budgeting, mid-term planning, and cross-department initiatives under BusinessAdministration.
- Support annual planning cycle and monitor performance against plans.
- Collect and analyze internal and external data for SSBR business management.
- Support supply chain and PSI (Production, Sales & Inventory) planning with relateddepartments.
- Liaise with Japan HQ and Sales departments for daily financial and SCM coordination,including Japanese-language communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (management accounting and/or cost accounting)in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analytical work.
- Experience in chemical or related manufacturing industry is requiredStrong hands-on SAP experience with independent data extraction capability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Business-level Japanese required (JLPT N1 preferred, minimum N2) due to regular HQ reportingand coordination.
