The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing assigned client accounts by building strong relationships, understanding client business needs, and delivering value-driven solutions. The role focuses on client retention, revenue growth, and long-term partnership development while acting as the primary point of contact between the client and the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key and strategic accounts
- Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Understand client objectives, challenges, and business priorities
Account Growth & Revenue Management
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion
- Develop account plans to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives
- Support contract renewals, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations
Service Delivery & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, finance, HR, or delivery teams) to ensure timely and quality service delivery
- Monitor service performance, resolve issues, and manage client expectations
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments
Strategic & Advisory Support
- Provide consultative recommendations aligned with client needs and market trends
- Support clients with solutions that enhance efficiency, performance, or compliance
- Act as a trusted advisor, not just a service contact
Reporting & Governance
- Track account performance, revenue, and client satisfaction metrics
- Prepare regular account reviews, forecasts, and management reports
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk controls, and governance standards
