The Role
We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to expand our footprint in the Data Center and Third-Party Maintenance (TPM) market.
In this role, you will not just be selling a service; you will be selling reliability . You will identify enterprise clients who struggle with managing distributed IT assets and pitch Authcor as their single-point solution for global on-site support. You will handle the full sales cycle-from prospecting and responding to RFPs to negotiating contracts for SLA-backed support.

The Role

In this role, you will not just be selling a service; you will be selling reliability . You will identify enterprise clients who struggle with managing distributed IT assets and pitch Authcor as their single-point solution for global on-site support. You will handle the full sales cycle-from prospecting and responding to RFPs to negotiating contracts for SLA-backed support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Hunting & Pipeline Generation
- Identify and target enterprises, cloud service providers (CSPs), and network operators with distributed global infrastructure.
- Cold call, network, and leverage LinkedIn to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Pitch our core pillars: Smart Hands Support (Break/Fix), Global Deployment (Rack & Stack), and IT Logistics.
2. Consultative Selling & Solution Design
- Understand the client's pain points regarding remote infrastructure management (e.g., "It costs too much to fly our engineers to install one switch").
- Collaborate with our technical teams to draft proposals, quotations, and Statements of Work (SOW) that solve these specific logistical challenges.
- Lead the response process for Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs).
3. Account Management & Expansion
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for onboarded clients.
- Drive "land and expand" strategies-turning a single-location break/fix contract into a global support agreement across multiple regions.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
4. Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on the data center landscape (e.g., new DC builds in APAC/EMEA) to anticipate where our clients will need support next.
- Represent Authcor at industry events, data center conferences, and networking sessions.
Requirements
Essential:
- Industry Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of B2B sales experience in IT Infrastructure, Data Center Services, System Integration, or Telecoms.
- Concept Knowledge: You must understand the terminology of the trade (e.g., Rack Units, Patching, SLAs, Smart Hands, IMAC, MTTR).
- Hunter Mentality: Proven track record of generating your own leads and closing deals without relying solely on inbound marketing.
- Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to negotiate complex contracts with C-level executives and IT Directors.
Preferred:
- Existing network of contacts within Data Center facilities or Enterprise IT procurement.
- Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Understanding of global logistics/freight (import/export of IT gear) is a strong plus.
