Our client is looking for a motivated and resourceful Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in Singapore while pursuing regional and international opportunities aligned with the company's long-term strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure sectors, with the ability to translate industry connections and market insights into tangible business results.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Growth: Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within Singapore's construction and infrastructure markets, while supporting international project pursuits.
• Build Strategic Relationships: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with developers, consultants, contractors, and public sector stakeholders to expand the company's client network.
• Develop Sales Pipeline: Build a healthy mix of short-, medium-, and long-term opportunities to ensure consistent revenue and market growth.
• Lead Bidding & Tender Processes: Coordinate pre-tender and tender activities, ensuring proposals are both technically compliant and commercially competitive.
• Utilize Market Intelligence: Leverage existing networks and market insights to identify upcoming projects, partnerships, and industry trends.
• Collaborate Across Regions: Work closely with regional offices and teams to align strategies and share business development best practices.
• Represent the Company: Participate in industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to enhance the firm's visibility and brand reputation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline. A background in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering will be advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the construction or infrastructure industry.
• Proven ability to generate leads and secure major contracts through a well-established professional network.
• Solid understanding of tendering, procurement, and contract processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a strategic yet hands-on approach to business development.
• A proactive self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Willingness to travel within the region for client meetings, partnerships, and project discussions.
