Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Account Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, responsible, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the full set of General Ledger (GL) activities including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), cash book, daily bank postings, and month-end reconciliations.
• Prepare and process supplier payments on time, ensuring all invoices are approved according to the Delegation of Authority (DOA).
• Record incoming receipts in Synergix ERP system on the same day.
• Liaise with QS, Procurement, and Project teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely collection and payments.
• Manage petty cash and monitor bank balances with weekly variance reporting.
• Issue customer statements, follow up on overdue payments, and handle payment-related queries.
• Perform timely and accurate month-end closing.
• Ensure all financial transactions comply with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a main contractor or M&E construction firm.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; ERP system experience required (Synergix preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills across teams.
• Able to work under tight deadlines and adapt to a site-paced work environment.
• Singaporeans and Permanent Residents only.
• Immediate availability will be an advantage.

• Working Days: Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm)
• Work Location: Woodlands / North area
