We are hiring a Business Development Manager to lead market expansion efforts targeting Japanese enterprises across the Pan-APAC region. This is a client-facing, high-impact role that combines solution consulting, relationship management, and sales execution in the fast-paced world of IT managed services.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our Japan Corridor and regional corporate development team, you will:
  • Lead business development activities with Japanese clients across APAC (HQ in Singapore or subsidiaries in the region).
  • Build and grow C-level relationships and act as a cultural bridge between Japanese clients and internal delivery teams.
  • Identify market opportunities, craft go-to-market strategies, and drive pipeline growth for IT infrastructure, cloud, and managed services.
  • Develop tailored ICT solutions in collaboration with solution architects and delivery leads.
  • Shape commercial proposals, lead contract negotiations, and manage full sales cycle from pitch to closure.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and internal teams to ensure value delivery and account retention.
  • Conduct market analysis and pricing studies to inform growth plans and develop differentiated service offerings.


Key Requirements:

We're looking for someone who can operate at the intersection of business development, consulting, and cultural intelligence.
  • 7-12 years of experience in business development, pre-sales, or consulting within IT infrastructure or managed services.
  • Proven track record of engaging Japanese clients, with deep understanding of Japanese business culture and expectations.
  • Strong grasp of IT operations, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and service management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills - fluent in both Japanese (business level or native) and English.
  • Ability to lead consultative selling, shape complex solutions, and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related fields. MBA is a plus.
