Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with potential and existing clients, and promoting the company's corporate secretarial and related professional services. This role requires a good understanding of corporate compliance, company incorporation, and regulatory requirements under ACRA and relevant authorities.

Job Responsibilities

1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Singapore and overseas markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, entrepreneurs, and business partners.
  • Understand client needs and propose appropriate corporate secretarial or advisory services.
  • Follow up on leads, prepare proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and timely response to inquiries.

2. Marketing & Business Promotion
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, networking events, and seminars to promote the firm's services.
  • Prepare marketing materials, corporate presentations, and service brochures.

3. Collaboration with Internal Teams
  • Work closely with the corporate secretarial team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Coordinate with accounting, tax, and compliance departments for cross-selling opportunities.
  • Provide client feedback to improve service quality and client retention.

4. Market Research & Strategy
  • Conduct market research to identify potential industries and business trends.
  • Monitor competitors' activities and recommend strategies for business expansion.
  • Prepare regular business development reports and forecasts for management review.

5. Administrative & Support Duties
  • Maintain accurate client and prospect records in CRM or internal database.
  • Support preparation of proposals, service agreements, and presentations.
  • Assist in tender submissions or partnership proposals when required.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates and 1-3 years of working experience in business development are welcome to apply.
  • Good understanding of ACRA regulations, the Companies Act, and corporate compliance procedures will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good verbal & written communication in English and Mandarin. Able to interact with International and Chinese-speaking clients.
