Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Strategic Growth

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the EV charging ecosystem, including partnerships, tenders, and strategic collaborations.

• Develop and execute short-term and long-term business strategies to expand the company's market presence and charging network footprint.

• Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate potential sites, and manage the end-to-end process of site acquisition for EV charging stations.

Tender Management

• Lead and coordinate tender preparation, submission, and evaluation processes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.

• Monitor ongoing tenders and contracts, track milestones, and manage performance deliverables.

• Liaise with relevant authorities, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful bid submissions and project implementation.

Market and Technology Insights

• Research market trends, policy developments, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.

• Develop insights and recommendations to enhance competitiveness, pricing strategies, and customer experience.

Stakeholder & Project Coordination

• Work closely with internal teams (engineering, operations, and project management) and external partners to ensure project alignment and smooth execution.

• Develop business cases and proposals for management approval.

• Drive continuous improvements in work processes, customer engagement, and network optimization.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, tender management, or project planning, preferably in the EV charging, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors.

• Proven track record in tender submissions, contract monitoring, and site acquisition.

• Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proactive, resourceful, and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Passionate about sustainability and the electrification of transport.
