Job Summary
As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives, enhance investment product offerings, and support key business operations. This dynamic role spans strategy execution, digital investment platform support, and client engagement. The role requires fluency in Mandarin due to our target client base and you will help track performance metrics, analyse market trends, and collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative financial solutions.

This position will be based in our business office at Capital Tower, Tanjong Pagar.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Business Operations
  • Collaborate with the CEO and department leads to define and execute strategic priorities.
  • Track performance metrics, user data, and KPIs related to platform usage and investment flows.

Investment Product & Platform Support
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of digital investment offerings (e.g., ETFs, robo-advisory tools, goal-based investing).
  • Benchmark competitors and monitor industry trends (e.g., regulation, UX, personalization in investment apps).
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and compliance to support product roadmaps.

Client & Partner Management
  • Assist in onboarding B2B and institutional partners or investor networks.
  • Prepare and introducing pitch decks, product overviews, and analytical insights for prospective clients or investors.
  • Support the onboarding processes and ensure a seamless experience for clients and investors.
  • Help ensure a smooth investor experience by resolving queries and gathering feedback.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Finance or Business
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in wealth management and equities preferred
  • Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is essential
  • Strong understanding of Southeast Asian financial markets, including cultural and economic nuances
  • Proven track record in sales or business development within the financial sector
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills


Good to Have:
  • Exposure to Digital Investment Platforms, Robo-Advisors, or Neobanks
  • Familiarity with APIs, Product Development Cycles, or Agile Teams
  • Experience using tools like Notion, Airtable, Figma, Google Analytics, or Looker
  • Understanding of financial products such as ETFs, Mutual Funds, Structured Notes, or Digital Assets
