Key responsibilities include monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), optimizing product mix, managing inventory, supporting new store openings or product launches, and ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations. The role requires strong analytical skills to interpret data, strong communication to present findings, and a deep understanding of the bakery's specific operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:Analyze sales data, product performance, and operational metrics to provide actionable insights and reports to management.
  • Cost & Inventory Management:Implement strategies to control costs, reduce wastage, and manage inventory to ensure product availability and consistency.
  • Process Optimization:Identify and recommend improvements to operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Strategic Support:Contribute to strategic initiatives like new store openings, product launches, and events.
  • Performance Monitoring:Track KPIs and sales targets, and provide support for commission and incentive calculations.
  • Vendor & Supplier Relations:Maintain positive relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
  • Compliance:Ensure the bakery adheres to local food safety, hygiene regulations, and licensing requirements.

Key Skills Required
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis to identify trends and bottlenecks.
  • Communication: Ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to management.
  • Problem-Solving: Aptitude for resolving issues and finding solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Managing relationships and implementing changes across different departments.
  • Analyze which bakery items are most profitable and which are underperforming to optimize the product mix.
  • Look for ways to improve production efficiency, reduce waste of ingredients, and ensure consistent product quality.
  • Support the opening of new bakery locations or the launch of new baked goods by analyzing operational requirements and potential challenges.
  • Ensure that staff scheduling, manpower planning, and inventory control are optimized for cost-efficiency and consistent operations.
